Summary

We are an established B2B SaaS platform in the Salesforce ecosystem — Salesforce-native DevOps and release management, backup and archive, sandbox seeding and data masking, plus security and governance — serving enterprise and Fortune 1000 Salesforce teams. We're hiring a Technical Product Marketing Manager who already speaks the language of Salesforce release managers, architects, admins, and security teams. You should be able to explain metadata deployments, Git branching strategy, sandbox seeding, backup/restore RPO and RTO, and data residency without a translator sitting next to you. This is a hands-on, produce-the-work role. You will write, position, interview customers, build case studies, and arm sales — not manage an agency and forward decks. What You'll Do Own positioning and messaging for DevOps, backup/archive, sandbox management, and governance — differentiated against the other Salesforce DevOps and backup vendors buyers evaluate Write and ship technical content: solution briefs, whitepapers, comparison and alternative pages, release-cycle content, demo scripts, and technical blog posts Run the case study pipeline end-to-end — identify the right customers, interview them, get the metrics, get approvals, and publish Build sales enablement that reps actually use: battlecards, discovery questions, objection handling, ROI and TCO framing, RFP/security-questionnaire answers Support launches: name the capability, define the audience, write the narrative, brief sales and CS, measure adoption Translate product and engineering detail into buyer-facing value for two distinct audiences — technical practitioners and the executives who sign Partner with SEO/content, demand gen, and the technical evangelist on webinars, launches, and campaign messaging Feed competitive and win/loss insight back into the roadmap conversation Must-Haves 4+ years in product marketing, technical marketing, or technical content for a B2B software product sold to technical buyers Direct working knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem — you have marketed to, sold to, supported, or worked as a Salesforce admin, developer, release manager, or architect Real familiarity with Salesforce DevOps concepts: CI/CD, version control, metadata API, sandboxes, deployment validation, release governance Real familiarity with Salesforce data protection: backup and recovery, archiving, data masking, retention, compliance (HIPAA, PCI, SOX, GDPR), data residency Portfolio proof: published writing samples with your name on them — briefs, whitepapers, comparison pages, or technical blogs Demonstrated case study work — you've interviewed a customer, extracted quantified outcomes, and shipped the finished asset Strong, fast writing in clear English; you can self-edit and don't need a copywriter behind you US-based working hours (PT overlap preferred) Self-directed: given "we need a positioning doc and three case studies this quarter," you build the plan and execute it Nice-to-Haves Prior work at a Salesforce ISV or AppExchange partner Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer, Architect track) Experience with competitive intelligence in the Salesforce DevOps or backup category Familiarity with Agentforce, Data Cloud, or AI-agent governance topics Analyst relations, AppExchange listing optimization, or review-site (G2) program experience Comfort with AI-assisted content workflows, with an editorial standard that keeps output publishable
