Technical Product/AI Project Manager

Lasting Mark is looking for a Technical Product / AI Project Manager—someone who understands software development, AI-assisted workflows, process design, and can translate business operations into developer-ready requirements. Ignition is much more than an app; it's a workflow transformation platform for agent onboarding & contracting. We’re looking for someone who has led complex operational software. The ideal candidate should be able to sit with us, understand how our contracting and onboarding operation works, translate that into developer stories, challenge inefficient workflows, and continuously ask how AI can reduce manual effort and improve the experience for agents and internal teams. Technical Project Manager / AI Systems Project Manager (Contract) About the Project Ignition is Lasting Mark's next-generation onboarding and contracting platform, designed to modernize one of the insurance industry's most complex operational environments. The platform centralizes agent onboarding, contracting, workflow management, automation, reporting, AI-driven assistance, and operational visibility into a single system. We're looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager who can become the operational leader of the project, keeping development organized, identifying process improvements, coordinating priorities, and ensuring the project moves quickly from concept to production. Responsibilities Serve as the primary project manager between business leadership and the development team Convert business discussions into clear development requirements Create and maintain the project roadmap Break large initiatives into manageable development sprints Prioritize features based on business value Lead weekly sprint planning and review meetings Track milestones, blockers, and dependencies Ensure developers remain focused on priorities Document requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria Identify opportunities for AI automation throughout the platform Recommend process improvements that reduce manual work Work closely with leadership to validate features before development begins Coordinate testing and user acceptance before releases Maintain project documentation and development standards Required Experience Software Development 5+ years managing software projects Strong understanding of web application development Experience working with offshore development teams Comfortable discussing APIs, databases, integrations, authentication, and system architecture Experience using Agile or Scrum methodologies AI Knowledge Must understand modern AI technologies including: ChatGPT/OpenAI APIs AI workflow automation Prompt engineering AI copilots Intelligent document processing AI-powered search Process automation Workflow orchestration We're looking for someone who actively thinks: "Can AI eliminate this manual process?" Process Improvement Experience with: Business process mapping Workflow optimization Operational efficiency Automation strategy Identifying bottlenecks Requirements gathering Ideal Background Experience in one or more of the following: Insurance FinTech CRM platforms Workflow automation SaaS platforms Operations management Contracting or compliance systems Insurance experience is a significant plus.
