QA Tester for Web Application

We're looking for an experienced QA Tester to help ensure the quality and reliability of our web-based data operations platform. Our product handles data migration/ETL workflows and data governance, so accuracy and data integrity are at the heart of everything we build. You'll design and execute test plans, identify and document defects, and work closely with engineering to ship reliable releases. What You'll Do - Develop, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for our web application - Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing - Validate data-centric workflows, including data migration, transformation, and governance features - Identify, document, and track defects through resolution - Collaborate with engineers and product managers to clarify requirements and improve quality processes - Verify fixes and support release testing What We're Looking For - 3+ years of hands-on QA testing experience with web-based applications - Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect lifecycle management - Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills - Ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports - Comfort working with data — validating outputs, comparing datasets, spot-checking transformations - Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Nice to Have - Experience testing ETL tools or data pipelines - Test automation experience (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) - Basic SQL skills for data validation - Familiarity with data governance concepts
