TikTok Shop API Developer – AI Optimize & Bulk List 10,000 Shopify Products + Shipping

We have an established Shopify store with a large product catalog and an existing U.S. TikTok Shop. We need an experienced TikTok Shop API / Shopify API developer to build an automated system for optimizing, creating, and maintaining approximately 10,000 products on TikTok Shop. IMPORTANT: We are specifically looking for someone who already has a working/approved TikTok Shop API solution/app that can be officially authorized by our U.S. TikTok Shop. Our own seller account currently does not have direct Seller Developer API eligibility, so simply knowing how to code against the TikTok API is not sufficient. What the system needs to do Shopify will be the primary product source. The system should: 1. Connect to our Shopify Admin API and retrieve our products. 2. Connect to our TikTok Shop through an authorized TikTok Shop API/app integration. 3. Process approximately 10,000 products without manual entry. 4. Create new TikTok Shop listings and update existing listings. 5. Use AI/OpenAI to optimize product information for TikTok Shop. 6. Generate optimized TikTok titles and descriptions based only on factual Shopify product information. 7. Map products into the correct TikTok Shop categories. 8. Populate all required TikTok product attributes. 9. Handle product variants, sizes, colors, materials, dimensions, thicknesses, SKUs, etc. 10. Transfer/synchronize product images. 11. Synchronize price and inventory. 12. Configure/map shipping information, package weight/dimensions, warehouses and applicable TikTok Shop shipping requirements. 13. Correctly handle products with different sizes/weights and shipping requirements. 14. Detect TikTok validation errors and rejected products. 15. Automatically retry or flag failed products for review. 16. Prevent duplicate TikTok listings. 17. Maintain Shopify SKU ↔ TikTok SKU/Product ID mapping. 18. Keep detailed logs showing successful, failed and pending products. 19. Support future Shopify products automatically, not only the initial 10,000. 20. Be designed for TikTok/Shopify API rate limits and large-catalog processing. AI optimization We do not want AI simply rewriting titles blindly. The AI should analyze the actual Shopify product data and create TikTok-optimized information while preserving factual specifications. For example: Shopify: Whole ABS Sheet - Black - 1/8 inch thick TikTok optimized: A more descriptive/search-friendly title containing the correct material, color, thickness, dimensions and relevant product terminology. AI must never invent dimensions, materials, certifications, compatibility, use cases or other product specifications that are not supported by our source data. Ideally, the system should also identify missing information that prevents a product from receiving a high-quality TikTok Shop listing. Shipping is important This is not just a product-upload project. Our products can have different: * Dimensions * Weights * Package dimensions * Shipping requirements * Variants The developer must understand how TikTok Shop U.S. shipping/fulfillment works and correctly map the required shipping/product information. We need the developer to test that an actual TikTok order can flow through the selected integration and that fulfillment/tracking can be handled correctly. Existing products We already have approximately 70 products on TikTok Shop. The system must identify/match existing listings before creating new ones so we don’t accidentally create duplicates. Existing listings should also be analyzed and optimized where appropriate. Can you handle TikTok categories and required product attributes automatically? 7. Can you synchronize inventory and pricing from Shopify? 8. Can you configure/map shipping, package weight/dimensions, warehouse and fulfillment information? 9. Have you previously processed a catalog of 1,000+ products through TikTok Shop API? Please describe it. 10. How will you prevent duplicate listings when approximately 70 products already exist in our TikTok Shop? 11. First milestone — proof before bulk upload We will NOT upload 10,000 products immediately. The first milestone will be: Shopify → API → AI optimization → TikTok Shop using approximately 10 test products. The developer must demonstrate: * Successful official TikTok Shop authorization * Existing TikTok listings can be retrieved * Shopify products can be retrieved * AI optimization works * Correct category mapping * Required attributes populated * Images transferred correctly * Variants/SKUs correct * Inventory/price correct * Shipping information correct * Products successfully created/updated in TikTok * Errors logged correctly Only after successful testing will we proceed toward the full approximately 10,000-product catalog. Deliverables We require: * Working integration * Source code * All automation/workflows * Setup documentation * Product/SKU mapping database * Error/retry system * AI prompts/configuration * Shipping configuration documentation * Instructions for processing future products * Short video walkthrough The finished system must be maintainable by us. We do not want to be permanently dependent on the freelancer to operate it. Total budget: $500 fixed price. This is a results-based project, not an hourly project. The $500 is for the complete agreed project, including a working system that can optimize and list our Shopify catalog to our U.S. TikTok Shop through an authorized API/integration. We will not consider the project completed simply because development was started or because only part of the requested functionality was built. Payment will be released upon successful completion and acceptance of the agreed deliverables through the Upwork contract/escrow process. Before processing the full catalog, you must demonstrate the system on a small test batch. The completed solution must include: * Working Shopify API connection * Working authorized TikTok Shop API/integration * Ability to retrieve existing TikTok listings * AI optimization of product listings * Correct TikTok categories and required attributes * Images and variants * Price and inventory synchronization * Shipping/package data and required shipping configuration * Existing-product matching to prevent duplicates * Successful creation/update of test products * Bulk-processing system designed for approximately 10,000 products * Error handling and retry system * Source code/workflows transferred to us * Documentation and setup instructions If you cannot deliver the complete agreed scope for $500, please do not apply. Do not apply expecting additional payment simply because the project takes longer than expected. Any additional work outside the original agreed scope would require separate written approval.
