ToF Sensor Pipeline & Point Cloud Processing Expert (IMU & Depth Fusion)

Key Responsibilities: - Data Fusion: Integrate high-frequency IMU data with depth (XYZ/intensity) and RGB image streams to handle motion compensation and frame-to-frame alignment during dynamic movement (e.g., manual pole sweeps). - Pipeline Prototyping: Develop a modular processing script (preferably in Python using tools like Open3D or equivalent libraries) to process raw frames into coherent point clouds. - Filtering & Noise Reduction: Implement and tune filtering options to clean outlier data, handle motion blur, and remove environmental artifacts driven by IMU and sensor data. Ideal Skills & Background: - Strong proficiency in Python and 3D point cloud processing frameworks (e.g., Open3D, PCL, or custom NumPy/SciPy pipelines). - Solid understanding of sensor fusion (combining IMU orientation/acceleration with depth data). - Experience working with depth cameras, ToF sensors, or stereo vision systems - Practical background in handling spatial coordinate transformations, calibration, and outlier rejection algorithms.
