Track & Field Coaches Needed to Test New Coaching Software — Paid Feedback

We’re looking for experienced track & field and cross-country coaches to test a new software platform being built specifically to make a coach’s job easier. This is not a technical software-testing job. We want actual coaches. If you currently coach high school, college, club, youth, or another competitive level of track & field or cross country, we’d like you to use the platform as if you were planning and managing your own team — and then give us honest feedback. Our goal is simple: Can technology help coaches build better training plans, organize athletes, and save time without creating more work? The software is designed to help coaches with areas such as: Building workouts and training plans Organizing athletes by event group Practice planning Tracking training volume and athlete workload Meet-week planning and tapering Recording times, splits, and performances Athlete development and progression Managing multi-event athletes Coordinating athletes who play multiple sports Organizing coaching notes and training history Saving time on repetitive coaching tasks What You'll Do You'll receive access to the software and a few specific coaching scenarios to work through. We want you to approach the platform as a coach — not as a software tester. Try to accomplish tasks the same way you would during your normal season and tell us: What makes sense? What is confusing? What would you actually use? What would you never use? What takes too many clicks? What information is missing? What would make the platform more useful to your staff? Would this actually save you time as a track coach? We are particularly interested in coaches who currently use spreadsheets, Google Docs, TeamBuildr, timing systems, workout-planning tools, meet-management software, athlete-management platforms, or other track and field technology. Experience with those products is helpful but not required. Ideal Candidate Current or recently active track & field or cross-country coach with hands-on experience in areas such as: Writing workouts Managing multiple event groups Sprint, distance, hurdle, jump, or throw programming Tracking athlete progression Preparing athletes for meets Managing training volume and recovery Recording times and performance data Coordinating assistant coaches Working with multi-sport athletes Please Include in Your Application: What level do you currently coach or most recently coached? What is the most time-consuming or frustrating part of managing your athletes and training each week? One important note: We're not looking for coaches to tell us everything is great. We want coaches who will be candid, tell us what doesn't work, and help us build something that track coaches would genuinely want to use. If you've ever found yourself juggling workouts, spreadsheets, athlete groups, meet entries, training loads, and performance data and thought: “There has to be an easier way to manage all of this.” We'd especially like to hear from you. There may also be opportunities for additional paid testing and ongoing advisory work as we continue developing the platform.
