We are seeking an experienced U.S.-licensed trademark attorney to help protect a business name as quickly as possible. The selected attorney will: Conduct a comprehensive trademark clearance search Assess the likelihood of approval and identify potential conflicts Recommend the strongest filing strategy, classes, and description of goods/services Prepare and submit the USPTO application on an expedited basis Advise on any legitimate options for accelerating the process Provide ongoing support for USPTO correspondence or office actions, if needed Required Experience Active license to practice law in the United States Significant experience filing trademarks with the USPTO Demonstrated success with business-name and brand-name registrations Strong experience evaluating likelihood-of-confusion risks Ability to begin immediately and complete the initial search and filing quickly Clear, responsive communication When Applying, Please Include Your state bar membership and license status The approximate number of trademark applications you have handled Two or three anonymized case studies or examples of successful trademark matters Your proposed turnaround time for the clearance search and application filing Your total fee, including what is and is not included Whether office-action responses and ongoing monitoring are included or separately billed We are looking for someone who can provide strategic legal guidance not simply complete a form.
