Trading Bot

Looking for a skilled developer with experience in algorithmic trading and financial APIs to build an automated trading bot. The goal is to execute trades based on specific technical/quantitative strategies with low latency, robust error handling, and solid risk management. Key Responsibilities Strategy Implementation: Code trading logic based on specific indicators/triggers (e.g., Moving Averages, RSI, order book imbalance, arbitrage, custom rules). API Integration: Connect the bot securely via REST API / WebSockets to [e.g., Binance, Interactive Brokers, MetaTrader 5, Bybit, Coinbase, Alpaca]. Risk Management: Implement automatic stop-loss, take-profit, position sizing limits, and daily loss safeguards. Testing & Backtesting: Backtest the strategy against historical data and run paper trading simulations prior to live execution. Deployment & Monitoring: Deploy the bot on a cloud server ([e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean] or local machine) with error logging and real-time alert notifications ([e.g., Telegram, Discord, Email]). Required Qualifications Proven track record building automated trading systems / bots. Proficiency in [Python / C++ / Pine Script / Node.js / MQL4/MQL5]. Experience working with exchange APIs, WebSockets, and handling rate limits. Strong background in financial data handling, order execution types (market, limit, stop-limit), and risk management logic. Ability to deliver clean, modular, and well-documented code. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with quantitative backtesting frameworks (e.g., Backtrader, Pandas, Zipline). Knowledge of machine learning/statistical models for trading.
