Train Our AI Agent in SEO, AEO & GEO Optimization (Fixed-Price)

## Project Overview We run businesses operated largely by AI agents. Your job in this project is to **transfer your search optimization expertise into our AI agent** through written SOPs, worked examples, and structured feedback rounds — covering classic SEO, AEO (answer engine optimization: featured snippets, People Also Ask), and GEO (generative engine optimization: getting content cited and recommended by AI answers like Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity). The agent will apply this to websites, blog posts, and user-generated content. Payment is released per milestone when the deliverables below are met. You must have 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience with provable ranking results, working knowledge of AEO/GEO tactics, experience with standard tooling (Google Search Console, GA4, and at least one of Ahrefs/Semrush/similar), and excellent written English. ## Deliverables & Milestones ### Milestone 1 — SOP Package (30% of project fee) Written in English, in Markdown or Google Docs, detailed enough that a person with zero SEO experience could follow them: 1. **Keyword & topic research SOP** — step-by-step process with exact tools, search-intent classification, and go/no-go criteria for targeting a keyword 2. **On-page optimization SOP** — rules (not vague advice) for titles, headings, meta descriptions, internal linking, images, and content structure, for both new and existing pages 3. **Technical SEO audit checklist** — a pass/fail checklist covering indexing, Core Web Vitals, structured data/schema, and crawlability, with the exact tool and check for each item 4. **AEO/GEO optimization SOP** — concrete tactics for winning featured snippets and being cited by AI answer engines: schema types, content formatting, entity/E-E-A-T signals, and how to measure AI-answer visibility 5. **UGC optimization SOP** — how to optimize user-generated content (reviews, community content, UGC-style posts) for search and AI-answer visibility, including moderation and quality rules *Accepted when:* all 5 documents are delivered, each step is executable without asking you follow-up questions, and one revision round is completed. ### Milestone 2 — Worked Examples (30% of project fee) 1. **3 complete keyword/topic research reports** produced by following your own Milestone 1 SOP (so we can verify the SOP actually works) 2. **2 full page optimizations** on URLs we provide, executed by following your own on-page SOP, with annotations mapping every change to the SOP rule it applies 3. **10 annotated examples** — 5 well-optimized and 5 poorly-optimized pages (public examples are fine), each with written notes explaining exactly what makes them good or bad against your checklist *Accepted when:* all outputs were demonstrably produced by your own SOPs and annotations state specific reasons. ### Milestone 3 — Agent Training & Validation (40% of project fee) 1. **3 feedback rounds:** we give you 10 agent-produced outputs per round (optimized drafts, briefs, audit results); you return written corrections referencing your SOPs and checklists, and we update the agent between rounds 2. **Final validation:** in a last batch of 10 agent outputs, at least 8 must pass your own checklists and quality standards without corrections *Accepted when:* all 3 rounds are documented in writing and the final batch reaches the 8/10 pass rate. If the agent fails, one additional feedback round is included in the fee. ## Terms - Fixed price, paid via Upwork milestones as listed above; propose your total project price in your application - All deliverables become our property upon payment (work for hire); you must not reuse or resell them - One revision round per deliverable is included - All application-stage answers are screening questions only — do not create any new work for this application; links to existing, already-published work are welcome - Strong performance may lead to ongoing paid retainer work maintaining and improving the agent --- ## Application Questionnaire (required — applications without it are rejected) 1. Describe your best provable ranking result: the site (or niche if confidential), starting point, what you did, and the outcome. Link existing public evidence if available. 2. Walk us through your keyword research process step by step, naming the exact tool you use at each step. 3. AEO/GEO: what concrete tactics have you used to win featured snippets or get content cited in AI Overviews/ChatGPT/Perplexity? Name specifics, not "create quality content." 4. What are the first 5 technical checks you run on a site you've never seen, and with which tools? 5. Describe a time a site you worked on was hit by an algorithm update or lost rankings. What did you diagnose and change? 6. In 5–10 lines, describe how you would instruct a brand-new employee to optimize a blog post's title and H1 — what rules would you give them?
