AI Training Data Specialist - Detail-Oriented, Fluent English

About the role We're building datasets used to train AI models, and we're looking for a detail-oriented specialist to prepare, review, and quality-check that data. This is an ongoing, long-term engagement — we're looking for someone to grow with the project, not a one-off task. What you'll do - Prepare, label, and structure datasets for model training - Review and edit written content for accuracy, consistency, and clarity - Apply detailed annotation guidelines precisely, and flag ambiguities and edge cases rather than guessing - Perform quality checks on your own work and, over time, on others' - Communicate daily on progress, blockers, and guideline questions Requirements (non-negotiable) - NDA: You must be willing to sign an NDA before starting. All work and materials are confidential. - English (C1 or above), written and spoken. You'll be reading, writing, and judging nuanced English text daily. - Exceptional attention to detail. This work lives or dies on precision. Small inconsistencies compound across a dataset. - Availability: 8+ hours per day overlapping US Eastern Time, Monday–Friday. Nice to have - Experience with AI/ML projects, data annotation, RLHF, or prompt engineering - Software development background in any language - Experience working from detailed style guides or annotation manuals Details - Rate: $3–$10/hour - Hours: ~40 hours/week - Duration: Ongoing, long-term How to apply Applications missing any of the below will not be reviewed. 1.
