We are a fast-growing commercial and residential cleaning company operating nationwide across the US. As we scale to 400+ employees, we're building a People Operations team that puts our field professionals first — and that starts with training that actually sticks and a real career path for the people doing the work. About the Role The Training & Development Manager owns how our cleaners are trained, how they grow into leads and supervisors, how new markets get launched, and how our remote team develops. This is a hands-on, build-from-scratch role — you'll create the content, run the sessions, and travel to train on site when we open new markets. You'll report to the Head of People Operations. What You'll Do Cleaner training Build and deliver the core training program every cleaner goes through — cleaning standards, checklists, app and photo requirements, safety, client-site conduct — in English and Spanish Deliver it in formats that work for a field workforce: short videos, live virtual sessions, and job aids that fit on a phone before a shift Turn QA findings and client complaints into targeted refresher training and measure whether scores improve Career path Build the cleaner career ladder — Cleaner → Lead Cleaner → Supervisor — with the skills, training, and certification required at each step Run the promotion-readiness track and supervisor curriculum: coaching, inspections, giving corrective direction, escalation Partner with Operations to identify high performers early and get them on the path New market launches Own training for every new market and client launch: build the plan, travel for launch week, train on site alongside the first shifts, and certify local leads to carry it forward Remote team Create new-hire training paths and an ongoing development calendar for our remote team — Support, Coordinators, Recruiters, Customer Success Deliver manager fundamentals and run compliance training on a set cadence Program management Track completion and impact; report monthly on what's working What You'll Need 4+ years in training, L&D, or field operations training for an hourly, distributed workforce Bilingual (English & Spanish) required Able to travel roughly 25–40% for new market launches, including early or late hours alongside field shifts Able to build content from scratch — videos, job aids, session plans — without a big production budget Comfortable facilitating live sessions, virtual and in person, for groups with varied tech comfort Comfortable with an LMS or lightweight tools (Loom, Google Workspace) and basic tracking Cleaning, facilities, or hospitality experience strongly preferred
