Translator (Spanish-English) and Insurance Claims Investigator

We are a multi-line independent adjusting firm seeking a reliable, detail-oriented insurance claims investigator with excellent Spanish and English skills to support our senior adjusters. This is a remote / work-from-home position and is intended to be a long-term role with growth opportunities. Position Overview: This position will primarily support senior adjusters handling construction-related Workers’ Compensation claims, or automobile accidents or personal injury claims. The role will begin as a trainee position, focused mainly on translation and communication support, and will gradually expand to include more substantive adjusting and claim-handling responsibilities as the candidate gains experience. The position will start part-time, with the expectation of transitioning to full-time as skills develop and workload increases. Key Responsibilities: • Provide Spanish–English and English–Spanish interpretation for phone calls, interviews, and claim-related communications • Assist senior adjusters with day-to-day handling of insurance claims claims • Schedule medical appointments, interviews, and inspections for injured workers and other parties • Communicate professionally with claimants, employers, medical providers, and vendors • Investigation of all types of claims. • Assist with claim documentation, file organization, and administrative support • Help gather and organize information related to construction-related injury claims • Maintain accurate, up-to-date claim records in accordance with company procedures Required Qualifications: • Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) • Strong communication skills and professional phone etiquette • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to learn new processes and work independently in a remote environment • Reliable modern computer with high speed internet connection. Experience is valued, but not necessary. We will train extensively. Besides translation and investigative experience, we also prize the following backgrounds : • Construction, legal, medical, engineering, or insurance-related fields. • Written and spoken skills. • People skills, social work,counseling skills • Prior experience interpreting or translating professional or technical conversation.
