Truckload Carrier Sales & Sourcing Assistant (1099 / Remote / US-Based Only

I run an independent logistics sales agency and I'm looking for a reliable, US-based assistant to help me contact truckload (TL) carriers one day a week. This is an ideal gig for someone currently between full-time jobs, looking for steady supplemental income, or seeking flexible part-time work in the logistics space. I will provide you with the target carrier lists and specific freight lanes. Your job is to reach out to these carriers, pitch the freight, gauge their interest, and help expand my active carrier network so we can capture more commission opportunities. What You’ll Do: Call and email motor carriers and dispatchers from provided lists. Pitch available truckload freight and open lanes using proper logistics terminology. Qualify carriers (check equipment type, lane preferences, and availability). Log feedback, direct contacts, and interested leads into my tracking sheets. Requirements (Must-Haves): Must be based in the United States. Previous experience in freight brokerage, carrier sales, or motor carrier dispatching. You must already know the industry lingo (e.g., spot rates, deadhead, equipment types like dry vans/reefers, and load boards). Comfortable talking professionally with truck drivers, dispatchers, and fleet managers. Compensation & Structure: Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour (Paid on a 1099 Independent Contractor basis). Schedule: Roughly 4 to 8 hours for one day a week to start. We can lock this in for Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday depending on your preference.
