True Crime/Bodycam YouTube Scriptwriter, Researcher, and Sourcer (Long-Term, Weekly Videos)

Description: We're a growing true crime/bodycam YouTube channel looking for an experienced scriptwriter-researcher-content sourcer to join us long-term. What you'll do: 1. Independently research shocking or high-drama unseen cases (arrest reports, 911 calls, court records, and other public sources). 2. Source the relevant footage via FOIA requests or other copyright-free/public sources. 3. Write retention-heavy scripts with strong hooks and pacing, built for 15–20 minute videos. What we're looking for: 1. Solid understanding of YouTube monetization guidelines, copyright, and fair use, all content must be monetizable. 2. Proven ability to dig up compelling, lesser-known cases (not just recycled headlines). 3. Experience writing for true crime/bodycam-style channels; prior work with larger channels is a strong plus. 4. Comfortable working independently across the full research → source → script pipeline. 5. Fluent, proficient English writer - scripts must read naturally and professionally, no awkward phrasing or translation-style writing. 6. No AI-generated scripts. All writing must be done by you, from scratch. We will be checking for this, and scripts found to be AI-written will result in immediate disqualification/termination.
