Turn ~200 Raw Holiday Clips Into a Family Holiday Video

Turn several hundred Raw Holiday Clips Into a Family Holiday Video** I have approximately 200-300 short video clips from a family holiday that I'd like someone to go through and edit into one enjoyable holiday video. This is **not intended to be a professional/cinematic production**. It's just an internal family video that we'll keep and watch back in future. I've made similar holiday videos myself previously and **I can provide examples of these so you can see the style, pacing, music and type of editing I like.** ### The main job is selecting the right footage This is the part that automatic editing software hasn't been able to do properly. A lot of my footage is intentionally recorded using fast transitions. For example: * I start recording * Quickly sweep/pan the camera towards something * Hold on the actual subject/scenery for 2–5 seconds * Quickly sweep/pan away again * There may then be another second or two of useless footage before I stop recording So a 10-second clip might only contain **3 seconds that I actually intended to use**. There will also be normal clips, longer videos, duplicate/similar shots, accidental footage and clips that simply aren't worth including. I need someone to actually **watch the footage and make sensible decisions about what is worth keeping**, rather than automatically stitching every clip together. ### What I'd like you to do * Review all ~200 clips * Identify and extract the best moments * Remove the rubbish/unintentional parts at the beginning and end * Completely discard clips that aren't worth using * Use my fast camera sweeps/transitions where they work well * Combine the best footage into one entertaining family holiday video * Keep some original audio where it adds to the video * Add a suitable soundtrack/music * Time cuts/transitions to the music where appropriate * Use simple transitions/effects where they improve the video * Deliver the finished video in high quality I'm completely happy for you to use AI or any other tools to speed up the process. I don't care what software you use — **I'm interested in the finished result.** ### Length There is **no strict target length**. I'd rather the finished video was 2 minutes of genuinely good footage than 10 minutes simply because we have 200 clips. Equally, if there is enough good footage to justify a longer video, that's absolutely fine. Use your judgement. ### Style Think **fast-paced family/travel video**, with some TikTok/Instagram-style editing rather than a traditional family slideshow. I like quick cuts, natural camera transitions, cuts timed to music, scenery, funny/family moments and occasional sections where the original audio comes through. I'll provide examples of previous holiday videos I've made myself as a reference. I'm looking for someone who can take that general style and **make it better than I could myself.** ### Music I'm happy for you to suggest/select the soundtrack. This video is only for private family use and won't be monetised or published commercially, so I'm more interested in music that fits the footage and atmosphere than commercial licensing.
