# Twitch VOD Clip Editor — TheJamierRoom Position: Twitch VOD Clip Editor Work Type: Freelance / Contract Schedule: As Needed / Based on Stream Schedule Location: Remote Compensation: Paid Per Project / VOD ## About TheJamierRoom TheJamierRoom is a growing Twitch-centered entertainment brand focused on gaming, reactions, funny moments, personality-driven content, and building our community known as the Roommates. We're looking for a Twitch VOD Clip Editor who understands modern streamer content and knows how to turn hours of livestream footage into entertaining, highly shareable short-form content. We're not looking for someone who simply cuts random moments out of a VOD. We want an editor who understands pacing, humor, reactions, storytelling, and what makes viewers stop scrolling. ## What You'll Do - Review Twitch VODs and identify the best moments without needing timestamps provided for every clip. - Turn stream moments into TikToks, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other vertical content. - Identify funny reactions, rage moments, fails, wins, unexpected moments, conversations, and other potentially viral moments. - Edit clips with strong pacing and remove unnecessary downtime. - Create attention-grabbing openings within the first few seconds. - Add captions/subtitles when appropriate. - Use zooms, cuts, sound effects, memes, images, and other effects when they enhance the moment. - Keep edits entertaining without over-editing. - Properly frame gameplay, facecam, and other stream elements for vertical platforms. - Deliver clean, high-quality finished clips ready for posting. - Learn and maintain TheJamierRoom's editing style as the brand develops. ## Editing Style We're looking for content similar to what you see from modern gaming and personality-based streamers. Clips should feel like actual streamer content—not generic corporate social media videos. We value: Personality • Humor • Fast Pacing • Strong Hooks • Authentic Reactions • Good Storytelling The editor should understand when a clip needs effects and when the original moment is entertaining enough to stand on its own. ## What We're Looking For You should have: - Experience editing Twitch, Kick, YouTube, or livestream content. - Strong understanding of Twitch and modern streamer culture. - Experience creating vertical 9:16 short-form content. - Understanding of TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. - Ability to recognize entertaining moments while reviewing long-form VODs. - Strong sense of comedic timing and pacing. - Experience with captions and subtitles. - Good communication and ability to receive feedback. - Reliable turnaround times. - Willingness to study creators and editing styles provided by TheJamierRoom team. - Ability to adapt as our content and brand continue to evolve. Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software is welcome. ## Important This position is about more than technical editing ability. We're looking for someone who can watch a stream and recognize: "THIS is the moment people are going to want to see."
