URGENT: German-Speaking Freelance PR Manager Needed for IFA Berlin 2026 We are urgently looking for a Berlin-based German-speaking Freelance PR Manager to support one of our brands on-site at IFA 2026 in Berlin during the first two days of the show. This is an on-site freelance PR role. The selected freelancer will represent our brand team at IFA and help manage communication and engagement with attending media. Responsibilities Proactively approach and communicate with German journalists, editors, and media representatives on-site Introduce the brand, products, and key messages to relevant media Act as an on-site PR representative for the brand Facilitate conversations and meetings between the brand team and media Support German-English communication where needed Help identify relevant journalists and media attending IFA Follow up on potential media opportunities during the event Assist with general media relations and PR coordination at the booth This role requires someone who is confident initiating conversations with media and actively creating PR opportunities, rather than simply providing event assistance. Requirements Native German speaker or fully fluent German is essential Based in Berlin or able to attend IFA Berlin in person Available for the first two days of IFA 2026 Previous experience in PR, media relations, communications, journalism, or trade shows Comfortable proactively approaching journalists and editors Professional, outgoing, and confident in face-to-face communication Good English communication skills Experience with IFA, technology brands, consumer electronics, or international media relations is highly preferred.
