Using DaVinci Resolve to make DSLR Footage More Cinematic

Hi, Looking for an experienced video editor to just add a filter or other effect to make an acting demo look more cinematic. There are 4 scenes, all less than 3 min each, so all of of the footage totals maybe 8 min. I can combine them all into one mp4 if that's easier. (And then I'll cut them up later into a normal acting demo length.) Basically, I went to a place where you pay them to make an acting demo and the camera setting/footage look like a soap opera. They did not use a Black Magic camera, but I know they used some kind of DSLR. The frame rate, depth and colors look pretty amatuer. I know the acting isn't great either, so that doesn't help. But I at least want a boost by making the scenes look more cinematic with frame rate, background, etc. I own Davinci Recolve and a Blackmagic camera so I'm somewhat familiar with what goes into fixing footage like this. But I'm just passing it off to Upwork to make sure I'm getting the best possible result. Should be a quick job if you already know which settings/filter/effects to use.
