VFX Artist Needed for Three Retro Fantasy Compositing Shots

I am looking for an experienced VFX compositor to complete three short effects shots for an independent supernatural narrative project. The visual direction combines fantasy and supernatural imagery with a bold retro aesthetic, executed using modern compositing tools and professional techniques. Reference points include the graphic fantasy effects of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Big Trouble in Little China, and other 1980s and 1990s supernatural film and television. The effects should feel colorful, tactile, atmospheric, and intentionally stylized. We are not looking for photorealistic Marvel Cinematic Universe-style effects, overly polished superhero energy simulations, or generic particle presets. The goal is something more graphic, distinctive, and inspired by optical-era fantasy effects, while still using contemporary tracking, masking, compositing, and image-integration techniques. The initial assignment consists of three shots. I will provide: • 4K source footage through Dropbox • Visual reference stills for each shot • Clear creative direction and feedback • Any additional production information required I am looking for someone who can complete all three shots this week. The listed fixed budget is $300 for all three shots, but applicants may submit their own quote after reviewing the attached references.
