Video Annotation & Captioning Specialist

We’re looking for highly detail-oriented video annotation specialists to work specifically on Project Manuscript II tasks. This is not general transcription or basic video labeling. The work requires carefully reviewing short video clips shot by shot and producing or evaluating extremely detailed, timestamped descriptions of exactly what is visible and audible. What You’ll Work On You’ll review video footage and accurately capture: Camera movement: pans, tilts, zooms, drifts, whip pans, handheld movement, drone movement, and other camera changes Actions & movement: detailed descriptions of what people and objects are doing, including direction and visible reactions Speech & speaker attribution: accurate transcription and identification of who is speaking Audio: music, ambient sounds, sound effects, and other audible details Video playback speed: identifying regular, slowed-down, or sped-up footage Cuts & transitions: identifying hard cuts, jump cuts, fades, dissolves, cross-fades, flash frames, and other transitions Timestamp accuracy: annotating events precisely, including timestamps at 0.1-second precision Quality review: catching missing actions, incorrect speaker attribution, inaccurate camera descriptions, missed audio, and other captioning errors Who We’re Looking For This role is ideal for someone with experience in video annotation, multimodal AI data labeling, detailed video captioning, transcription, media QA, or similar work. You should have exceptional attention to detail and be comfortable replaying clips multiple times to verify small visual and audio details. Accuracy matters more than rushing through the footage.
