Job Title: Video Editor – AI-Assisted Video Creation (Part-Time / Freelance) Location: Houston, TX (Remote) Type: Part-Time / Freelance | Project-Based or Hourly About the Role Pelazzio, a premier wedding venue in Houston, is looking for a skilled Video Editor to transform raw event footage into high-performing video ads for Meta and Google Ads campaigns. The ideal candidate combines strong editing fundamentals with hands-on experience using AI video tools to speed up production and boost creative quality. Responsibilities Edit raw wedding/event footage (provided by Pelazzio) into polished short-form videos for paid social and search ads Use AI tools (e.g., Runway, CapCut AI, Adobe Premiere AI features, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, etc.) for tasks like auto-captioning, background removal, voiceover generation, upscaling, and B-roll enhancement Create multiple ad variations (15s, 30s, 60s) optimized for Instagram Reels, Facebook Feed, and YouTube/Google Display Add on-brand captions, music, transitions, and CTAs aligned with campaign goals Deliver videos in required specs/aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) for different platforms Collaborate with the PPC/Marketing team on creative briefs and iterate based on ad performance feedback Organize and manage raw footage/project files efficiently Requirements Proven experience editing video for social media or paid ad campaigns (portfolio required) Hands-on experience with AI video/editing tools (must specify which ones used) Proficiency in Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro Understanding of ad format specs for Meta and Google platforms Ability to turn around edits quickly with attention to detail Bonus: experience editing wedding/event or luxury lifestyle content
