Video Editor Needed: Create Short Highlight Reel from Belize Scuba Diving Footage

Project Overview: I recently returned from a scuba diving trip to Belize and have a collection of roughly 60 very short, raw video clips from my iPhone that range in length from 30 seconds and the longest clip is 13 minutes long. Most clips are under a minute to a few minutes long. I am looking for a creative, detail-oriented video editor to review the footage, pull out the absolute best moments of sea life (try not to get dive master in my footage if possible), and assemble a polished, engaging short highlight video (approx. [1 to 3 minutes] / [60-second Reel format]). Looking for the short movie to have a beginning showing the flowing sea vegetation, climax to the shark scenes then closing. The video will be for entertainment purposes to share with family, friends and colleagues. Scope of Work: * Footage Culling: Review raw video clips and pull out the best shots (marine life, action, scenic dive moments). * Editing & Pacing: Stitch clips together into a seamless, well-paced recap/highlight video. * Color Correction: Perform color grading to restore natural colors (especially reds and warm tones) lost underwater. - there are a few clips with some reflection in top left quadrant in them from where my phone wiggled out of place inside the phone housing. Maybe 5-7 clips that way if you could fix it. * Audio: Sync the edit to a great background track, one for the shark scenes (licensed or royalty-free). * Deliverables: - 1 final high-resolution video file (1080p or 4K). - Aspect Ratio: [16:9 widescreen OR 9:16 vertical for social media/Reels]. Requirements: * Proven experience in travel, outdoor, or sports video editing. * Strong color grading skills (experience with underwater footage is a huge plus!). * Access to licensed music libraries (e.g., Epidemic Sound, Artlist) or royalty-free tracks. * Receptive to 3-4 rounds of light feedback/edits.
