Video Editor Needed: Documentary-Style & High-Retention (10–15 min YouTube Videos)

We are looking for a skilled video editor to help us edit 10 to 15-minute Spanish-language YouTube videos for a faceless channel focused on survival, emergency preparedness, and global crisis scenarios. Our target is to move beyond basic stock-footage compilations and build a high-retention, documentary-style aesthetic that keeps viewers engaged from start to finish. What We Provide: Script (in Spanish). Editing Brief: In most cases, we will provide a step-by-step editing brief outlining key sections, visual ideas, and structure to guide your work. What You Will Produce: Complete Voiceover Generation (using AI voice tools like ElevenLabs based on our provided script) and full video editing with sound design. Key Technical & Style Requirements: We want to selectively use visual and audio elements to strengthen the narrative without overediting or making the video feel chaotic. We expect the editor to incorporate: Dynamic Overlays & Visual Textures: Moving away from continuous, plain stock clips. Documentary Compositions: Animated maps, newspaper-style layouts, and real headlines (in Spanish) with animated underlines or highlights. Simple 2D Vector Diagrams: Clear visual setups to explain systems, risks, or emergency procedures. Contextual Motion Graphics: Animated checklists, countdown timers, timelines, warning indicators, and step-by-step protocols. Layered Compositions: Combining stock footage, documents, maps, text, and visual evidence. Purposeful Sound Design: Subtle whooshes, low booms, radio static, alarm tones, electrical hums, and mechanical clicks. Strategic SFX: Sound effects placed strictly on key transitions, revelations, warnings, and data points—not on every cut. Pattern Interruptions: Strategic visual and audio resets to maintain viewer attention throughout the 10–15 minutes. Note: We expect clean, effective, and efficient contextual motion graphics—not complex custom animation for every single scene. Requirements: Professional level of Spanish (to ensure on-screen text, headlines, and voice alignment are precise). Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects (or DaVinci Resolve). Strong eye for pacing, storytelling, visual hierarchy, and sound design. Ability to follow a detailed brief while bringing creative ideas to boost retention. High reliability and clear communication.
