Video Editor Needed - Talking Head Content - Long Term Full Time- Join Our Team
Worldwide
We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented video editor to join our growing editing team. You'll be working across a mix of YouTube content and client projects, with the majority of work being talking-head style videos (spokesperson content, VSLs, interviews, presenter-led long-form). You'll be joining an established team led by our Video Editing Team Lead, who will provide direction, feedback, and quality control. This is a long-term ongoing role, not a one-off project — we're building a dedicated team and want editors who plan to stick around and grow with us. **About the Work:** We produce a mix of long-form YouTube content and client deliverables (spokesperson videos, VSLs, promotional content). Most projects are talking-head based — a presenter or spokesperson speaking to camera — so strong skills in pacing, cutaways, jump cut cleanup, B-roll integration, and keeping a single-speaker video visually engaging are essential. **What You'll Be Doing:** - Editing talking-head video content (presenter/spokesperson-led) from raw footage to final cut - Occasional long-form YouTube editing (40+ minute episodes) - Sourcing and integrating relevant B-roll/stock footage to support narration - Basic colour correction and audio cleanup/mixing - Adding titles, lower thirds, captions, and simple motion graphics where needed - Following established templates and style guides for consistency across projects - Incorporating feedback from Team Lead review rounds - Communicating progress and blockers clearly and proactively **Requirements:** - Proven experience editing talking-head content (please share examples/portfolio) - Strong command of Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve - Good eye for pacing on single-speaker footage — knowing how to keep it visually engaging without gimmicks - Comfortable sourcing B-roll and stock footage efficiently - Own PC/laptop capable of handling video editing workloads (please confirm specs when applying) - Reliable, fast internet connection able to handle large file uploads/downloads - Good written English for team communication - Available UK daytime hours - Committed to 37.5 hours/week (open to discussing 40 hrs if that fits better for you) **Nice to Have:** - Experience with spokesperson videos, VSLs, or corporate/commercial content - Basic motion graphics/animation skills - Experience editing long-form documentary or commentary-style YouTube content - Comfortable working within a team structure (taking direction from a lead editor, not just a client) **How We Work:** - Tasks and feedback managed through our project management system (ClickUp) - Day-to-day guidance, QC, and revisions come from our Team Lead - Clear SOPs and templates provided to get you up to speed quickly - This is a team environment — communication and reliability matter as much as raw editing skill
