Video Editor Needed for Growing Creative Media Agency — Ongoing Work

Automation Media Ventures is a small creative media agency looking to build a reliable team of video editors for ongoing client projects. We're primarily interested in editors experienced with YouTube long-form content and short-form content for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok. This is not currently a guaranteed full-time position. We're building our production team as we acquire client accounts, so initial assignments may be project-based with the opportunity for consistent recurring work as our client base grows. The type of work may include: • Talking-head YouTube videos • Commentary/reaction videos • Podcasts • Educational/business content • YouTube Shorts • Instagram Reels and TikTok videos • Repurposing long-form content into short-form clips Depending on the client, edits may involve jump cuts, B-roll, captions, screenshots, motion graphics, sound design, music, punch-ins, memes, color correction, and audio cleanup. What We're Looking For We're particularly interested in editors who: • Follow detailed instructions accurately • Understand pacing and viewer retention • Communicate reliably • Meet agreed deadlines • Can adapt to different client styles • Are comfortable receiving revision notes • Maintain organized project files • Can handle recurring weekly work when available Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve experience is preferred. Shortlisted applicants may be offered a small paid editing test using the same footage and specifications provided to other finalists.
