Video Editor Required for 5-Module Ergonomic Workstation Training Course

Job brief We are creating a client-specific e-learning course showing employees how to correctly set up and adjust their ergonomic workstation equipment. We have recorded approximately 20 short horizontal videos, with a combined duration of approximately 7-9 minutes. These will form part of 5 short learning modules, with an expected final course duration of approximately 10 minutes, including narration, titles, animations and other learning content. We require an experienced video editor with strong motion graphics and corporate training experience to turn the raw footage into polished, professional instructional videos. Scope of work The successful freelancer will be required to: - Review, organise and edit approximately 22 short video clips - Trim unnecessary footage and combine clips into seven logical modules - Correct colour, exposure and white balance (we have white reference sheet for each shot) - Crop and reframe where required - Add animated arrows, circles, zooms and highlights to identify equipment controls and demonstrate adjustments - Add module titles, step numbers and concise on-screen instructions - Create professionally branded introduction and closing screens - Apply our branding and client branding - Add suitable, subtle background music - Clean, level and synchronise the supplied voiceover - Create accurate captions and a written transcript - Add suitable stock graphics or icons where they improve understanding - Blur any confidential or unintended information if identified - Export each module as a separate, SCORM-ready video file Voiceover KOS will: - Write and approve the narration script - Record and supply the voiceover The freelancer should advise whether voiceover is best supplied as: - One audio file per individual video; - One audio file per module; or - Another practical structure. The editor will be responsible for cleaning, levelling and precisely synchronising the narration with the video demonstrations. Style The required style is: - Clean and corporate - Professional but approachable - Clear and instructional - Visually engaging without excessive animation - Suitable for office employees with varying levels of technical knowledge - Required deliverables - Seven completed module videos - Final exported MP4 files suitable for online learning - High-quality master video files - Caption files in .VTT and .SRT formats - Course transcript in an editable format - Editable video project files - Copies of all graphics and licensed assets used - Two rounds of reasonable revisions - Ownership and confidentiality - Full commercial rights and ownership must transfer to our company - We must be able to reuse the underlying video style and template for other client courses - All footage, client information and training content must be treated as confidential - The successful freelancer may be required to sign an NDA - The work must not be used in a portfolio without written permission When applying Please begin your proposal with the words “Ergonomic Training” so we know you have read the full brief.
