We run two video podcast shows and need a reliable, proactive video editor who can handle the full workflow — from pulling raw recordings out of Riverside.fm to publishing-ready, platform-optimized content. This is ongoing, recurring work. If you're good and fast, there's consistent volume here. The Work Each episode starts as a raw Riverside.fm recording. Here is what we need done for every episode: Long-form (YouTube): Edit the full interview or solo episode — cuts, pacing, chapter markers, lower-thirds Write an SEO-optimized YouTube title, description, and tags using AI tools Export a publish-ready file Short-form clips (Reels / TikTok / LinkedIn / X): Use AI tools (Opus Clip, Descript, or equivalent) to identify the top 3-5 shareable moments Edit those clips for each platform's specs and style Add captions, transitions, and polish in CapCut Write platform-specific captions, hashtags, and post text using AI writing tools Brand consistency: Maintain a consistent look across both shows (templates and style guide provided) Required Skills — Please Only Apply if You Have These Riverside.fm — you must have direct experience pulling and editing from Riverside projects (not just general video editing) CapCut — short-form polish, text overlays, trending effects AI-assisted editing — Opus Clip, Descript, or a comparable tool for clip selection and auto-captions SEO writing for video — titles, descriptions, tags for YouTube and social platforms Platform knowledge — you know what performs on YouTube vs. Reels vs. TikTok vs. LinkedIn Nice to Have Thumbnail design (Canva or Photoshop) Experience editing podcast/interview-style content Familiarity with YouTube Studio and scheduling tools Any experience with AI/tech content (our subject matter is AI and enterprise technology) Availability We need some overlap with US Pacific Time (PT) — even 2-4 hours per day is fine. This is for quick feedback loops and the occasional brief sync. Full async is not workable for us.
