Video Editor for Luxury Travel Instagram Reels

We’re a boutique surf and luxury travel company looking for a talented video editor to help create polished, engaging Instagram Reels from our library of travel footage. We have raw video clips from beautiful hotels, villas, surf resorts, destinations, and travel experiences around the world. We’re looking for someone who can take that footage and turn it into clean, elevated Reels that feel inspiring and premium. The Style We’re Looking For We’re not looking for heavy special effects or overly complicated editing. Our ideal style is: Clean and polished Elevated and luxury-focused Visually engaging without feeling overproduced Well-paced with strong clip selection and sequencing Tasteful use of music, text, transitions, and sound Designed specifically for Instagram and social engagement The editing should let the destination and experience do most of the work. Most Reels will be approximately 8–20 seconds long, although length may vary depending on the concept. Examples of the types of Reels we may create include: A beautiful overview of a resort or villa “A day at this surf resort” Destination highlights Surf and travel inspiration Hotel or property features Experience-focused storytelling using a collection of travel clips What We’ll Provide We’ll provide the raw footage and general creative direction or concept for each Reel. Depending on the project, this may include reference videos, messaging, suggested clips, or examples of the style we’re looking for. We’re looking for an editor who also has a good creative eye and can make thoughtful decisions around pacing, clip selection, music, and overall flow. Trial + Ongoing Work We’d like to start with one paid trial Reel. If it’s a good fit, we’d love to develop an ongoing relationship with an editor who can regularly help us create Instagram content.
