Video Editor for Various Projects
Worldwide
Bianomics is a multi-service firm out of El Paso — client services, grants, workforce training, creative and communications work, and a few of our own ventures in motion. We move fast across a lot of projects at once, and we need a video editor who can move with us, not around us. What you'll actually be doing: Cutting promo videos, workshop/event recaps, client deliverables (onboarding series, campaign spots, social cuts), and internal brand content — often several projects in parallel, often for organizations doing sensitive, mission-driven work. What we need — non-negotiables: - You live in Monday.com and Slack. Status stays current without us having to ask. If something's "in progress," it's actually in progress. If you're blocked, you say so the day it happens — not a week later. - You communicate like a teammate. Direct, proactive, no disappearing acts. If a deadline slips, we hear about it before it's overdue, not after. - You give realistic estimates and hold them. If scope changes mid-project, you flag it — you don't quietly absorb it or quietly blow the deadline. - You deliver what was scoped. No surprise cuts, no unapproved creative left in the final file. What makes you stand out: - A real eye for brand and visual identity — you're not just executing a cut list, you understand how a video fits into a bigger brand story - Range beyond editing: motion graphics, thumbnail/social asset design, light photography or content capture — the more of the production pipeline you can cover, the more we can put on your plate - A holistic, visionary streak — you see the campaign, not just the clip. You'll sometimes catch something we didn't think to ask for Nice to have:* Experience with workforce development, nonprofit, or community-facing organizations — several of our clients serve veterans, survivors, and neurodivergent youth, so tone and trauma-informed judgment matter as much as technical skill. If you're the editor who's tired of chasing feedback into a void, or tired of being handed vague briefs — we're the inverse of that. We just need the same discipline back: clear status, honest timelines, and communication we don't have to extract.
