Video Editor for YouTube Channel (Real Estate/Land)

We run a YouTube channel focused on land and real estate investing, and we're looking for a video editor who can help us keep up with our upload schedule without sacrificing quality. Our videos mix satellite/map imagery, on-screen text callouts, and talking-head segments. We make visually driven content that keeps viewers watching. If you've edited for channels in the real estate, business, or finance space (or you just have a good eye for pacing and know how to make maps and graphics pop), we want to talk to you. What you'll be doing Editing both long-form videos and Shorts from raw footage Adding text overlays, arrows, zooms, and callouts on satellite/map imagery (this is a big part of our style — precision matters here) Cutting for pacing so we hold attention in the first few seconds and don't lose people mid-video Basic color correction and audio cleanup Adding b-roll, music, and sound design where it fits Turning around videos on a consistent weekly schedule What we're looking for A portfolio or reel showing real editing work — ideally something in real estate, finance, or a similarly visual/map-heavy niche Comfort with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut (tell us which you use) An eye for what makes people stop scrolling — you understand hooks, pacing, and retention, not just technical cuts Someone who can work independently once you understand our style — we'll give you examples and direction upfront, but we don't want to micromanage every cut Reliable communication and the ability to hit deadlines Nice to have Experience editing Shorts/vertical content specifically Familiarity with real estate, land investing, or similar business/finance content Motion graphics or animation skills for map overlays
