Video Editor - Immediate Start | Ongoing Work We’re looking for a talented and reliable Video Editor to join our creative team for an immediate start. We are a Melbourne-based creative agency producing video content for a range of clients across fitness, automotive, hospitality, events, lifestyle and other industries. We’re looking for someone with intermediate to advanced editing skills who understands how to turn raw footage into polished, engaging content - particularly short-form social media videos, interviews, promotional content and brand videos. This has the potential to become an ongoing working relationship for the right person. - What You’ll Be Doing • Editing raw footage into polished, engaging videos • Creating short-form content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other digital platforms • Editing interviews, promotional videos, brand content and social media reels • Selecting the strongest footage and creating a clear, engaging story • Trimming, sequencing and pacing footage effectively • Adding music, sound design, graphics, captions and transitions where appropriate • Basic colour correction and grading • Cleaning and balancing audio • Following supplied briefs, scripts and creative direction • Working within established client brand guidelines • Making revisions based on feedback from our creative team • Managing project files efficiently and delivering projects within agreed deadlines - What We’re Looking For: • Proven professional experience as a Video Editor • Strong skills in Adobe Premiere Pro • Experience with After Effects is highly regarded • DaVinci Resolve experience is also welcome • A strong understanding of pacing, storytelling and music selection • Experience editing content specifically for social media • Good understanding of colour, audio and basic motion graphics • Strong attention to detail • Ability to interpret creative briefs without requiring constant direction • Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines • Comfortable working remotely and collaborating with our Melbourne-based team - Important: We are looking for an editor - not simply someone who can operate editing software!! You should have a strong creative eye and understand how to make content feel engaging, polished and appropriate for the brand. We value editors who can look through raw footage, identify the strongest moments and make creative decisions rather than relying entirely on detailed instructions for every cut.
