Social Media Content Editor ($800 - $1,000 / month) - 40h per week About the Role We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Content Editor to join our social media agency. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media trends, loves designing scroll-stopping content, and understands what makes people stop, watch, and engage. Responsibilities •⁠ ⁠Design and edit carousels in Canva that are visually engaging, on-brand, and optimized for social media performance •⁠ ⁠Apply knowledge of hooks, storytelling, and calls to action to make content that captures attention in the first few seconds and drives engagement •⁠ ⁠Understand each client's unique branding, voice, and messaging, and translate that into compelling visual content •⁠ ⁠Keep all content organized and on schedule using the content calendar •⁠ ⁠Meet deadlines and manage multiple client projects simultaneously Requirements •⁠ ⁠Fluent in English (written and spoken) •⁠ ⁠Proficient in Canva; experience with other design tools (Adobe Suite, CapCut, etc.) is a plus •⁠ ⁠Strong understanding of social media content strategy, including hooks, pacing, and calls to action •⁠ ⁠Creative eye for design, layout, and visual storytelling •⁠ ⁠Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and time management skills •⁠ ⁠Ability to take feedback and adapt content to different brand voices •⁠ ⁠Experience working with multiple clients or brands is a plus •⁠ ⁠A portfolio or examples of previous carousel/social content work
