Video Producer & Editor for Founder / Personal Brand Long-Term Opportunity

I’m looking for a creative, ambitious Video Producer & Editor to work closely with me to build a personal brand and content platform from the ground up. This is not just an editing job. I’m getting serious about content and want someone who is excited about helping build the entire thing with me — researching the niche, developing ideas, planning videos, figuring out shots, editing content, studying what’s working, and continuously making the content better. What We’re Building My background is in sales, entrepreneurship, recruiting, business, and building teams. I have access to an interesting network of entrepreneurs, salespeople, business owners, and creators, and I want to document much more of what I’m doing while creating genuinely valuable and entertaining content around it. The goal is to consistently produce: * Short-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc. * Long-form YouTube videos * Business / entrepreneurship content * Sales content * Lifestyle and behind-the-scenes content * Interviews and collaborations * Travel / event content * Educational videos * Original content concepts we develop together I can help with scripting, topics, ideas, and recording. I want you to help me figure out what we SHOULD be creating. You’ll research my niche, study successful creators, identify opportunities, bring ideas to the table, and help us develop our own recognizable style rather than simply copying what everyone else is doing. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll work directly with me on things like: * Video editing * Content research * Developing video concepts * Helping create scripts and outlines * Planning shoots * Creating shot lists * Recommending camera angles / B-roll * Turning raw footage into engaging stories * Creating short-form clips * Producing long-form YouTube content * Helping organize a consistent posting schedule * Reviewing performance and improving future content * Finding trends and content opportunities * Helping develop the overall creative direction of the brand I don’t expect you to know absolutely everything on Day 1. I’m much more interested in finding someone who is creative, hungry, reliable, obsessed with getting better, and genuinely excited about content. Equipment / Resources I’m willing to invest heavily into making the content good. I already have equipment including: * GoPro * Insta360 / action cameras * Meta glasses * Drone * Wireless microphones * Additional filming equipment I’m also willing to purchase additional cameras, lenses, lighting, audio equipment, software, or whatever else makes sense as we develop the setup. I’ll do the recording and put in the time. I need someone who can help me turn that effort into great content. Florida Is a PLUS This can absolutely be a remote collaboration, so don’t hesitate to apply if you’re located elsewhere. However, I’m based in Sarasota, Florida, so someone located in Florida would be a major plus. There will potentially be opportunities to come to Sarasota and film in person, travel to Miami for content, attend events, meet entrepreneurs and creators, and help capture content in real-world environments. For the right person, I’d love for this to eventually become much more than sitting behind a computer editing clips. Who I’m Looking For You might be a great fit if you: * Know how to edit high-quality short-form video * Can edit or are interested in learning long-form YouTube * Understand pacing, hooks, retention, storytelling, B-roll, sound design, captions, etc. * Spend a lot of time studying online content * Understand what makes people keep watching * Have strong creative instincts * Bring ideas instead of waiting for instructions * Are willing to research a niche deeply * Want to improve rapidly * Communicate well * Are reliable and consistent * Want a long-term collaboration * Are passionate about video, content, business, or entrepreneurship You do not need 10 years of experience. I’d rather find someone talented and ambitious who wants to build something than someone who treats this as another editing ticket in their queue. Where This Can Go I’m looking for someone I can work with consistently and potentially for years. Initially, we’ll figure out our workflow, content style, filming process, editing style, and posting cadence. From there, I want to scale the amount and quality of content significantly.
