Summary

About us Aalis Underwriting is a new Managing General Agent launching in Italy in 2026, dedicated to title insurance for Italian real estate — protecting buyers, lenders and their advisors against legal risks that can put ownership of a property in doubt. We're based in Milan and distribute through Aon's national network of banks, notaries and real estate agents. The project We want a series of short, vertical videos (YouTube Shorts, also usable on Instagram Reels/LinkedIn) that explain what title insurance is, when it matters, and who it protects — told through real scenarios rather than a talking-head lecture. Our founder already has a working outline of episode concepts (attached at kickoff), each built around a specific legal risk and a real-world setting: a walking tour through a city centre explaining a height-restriction easement, standing in front of a development site explaining obligations that run with the land, a renewables site in an open field explaining adverse possession and collective land rights, and more — ten episode concepts in total, plus a few bonus topics. The core challenge: these are real legal and insurance concepts (notarial due diligence, easements, adverse possession, auction risk, corporate title M&A) that need to land with a mixed, savvy professional audience — notaries, bankers, lawyers, real estate agents — as well as ordinary buyers who've never thought about title risk. Nothing generic, nothing dumbed-down, but genuinely accessible in under 90 seconds. Scope of work (end-to-end) Work from our episode outline and supporting materials (product one-pagers, stakeholder breakdown, real Italian legal case studies, a risk-timeline) to write full scripts/shot lists for each short — translating dense legal and insurance concepts into a clear, visual, story-led format. Storyboard each short, including on-location scenes (city centre, a construction/logistics site, an open field, corporate office settings) featuring our founders on camera. Coordinate and execute filming. You can be based anywhere, but you (or a local crew you bring in) need to be able to film on location in and around Milan, Italy, and coordinate scheduling with our team. Edit into finished vertical (9:16) Shorts: burned-in captions, on-screen callouts for legal terms, a consistent branded intro/outro, pacing built for a 3-second hook. Deliver each short in both Italian and English — propose your own approach (subtitled original + dubbed cut, two separate recordings, etc.) in your application; we're open to what works best on quality and budget. Keep language accessible throughout: assume the viewer is smart but has no insurance or legal background, even when the viewer is a notary or a banker watching on their commute. Source material we'll provide at kickoff The founder's episode outline (10 topics + bonus tracks) — several entries use shorthand only our team can fully unpack, so we'll walk through each one on a kickoff call before scripting starts. Product summaries for our four facilities (title cover for private purchases, court-auction purchases, bank lending, and specific legal-obstacle cover). A stakeholder value map (what each audience — buyer, bank, notary, agent, broker — actually gets out of each product). A set of fact-checked Italian legal case studies (a Milan building-permit investigation, a Supreme Court ruling on buyer insurance rights, a double-sale dispute, an agent-liability rule, and the "as-is" rule in judicial auctions) that can anchor individual episodes. A risk-horizon timeline showing how long different title risks stay legally live after a purchase completes. Deliverables — pilot batch (fixed price) We want to start with a fixed-price pilot before committing to the full series: [4–5] episodes selected from the outline (we'll confirm which, based on your proposal and our priorities) Each delivered as a finished Short in both Italian and English — up to [8–10] finished vertical videos Scripts and storyboards delivered for our review and sign-off before filming begins One round of revisions included per video after the first cut If the pilot lands well, we'd expect to extend into the remaining episodes on an ongoing basis. Ideal freelancer Fluent in Italian (professional working proficiency minimum — you'll be scripting and likely directing on-camera talent in Italian) and comfortable working in English Based in or able to travel to Milan, Italy for filming, or able to bring in a local crew you direct remotely A portfolio of short-form explainer or brand video work — bonus points for legal, financial, corporate or B2B content, or anything that's had to make a dry topic genuinely watchable Comfortable directing non-professional, on-camera talent (our founders) — someone who can coach a good, natural performance out of a subject-matter expert, not just point a camera at them Strong instincts for the first 3 seconds of a Short — we'd rather have five great hooks than ten forgettable ones Budget & timeline Fixed price for the pilot batch above: [$X–Y — you'll set this] Target turnaround: scripts within [1–2] weeks of kickoff, filming within [2–3] weeks after script sign-off, finished videos within [1] week of filming Kickoff call required before scripting starts to walk through the episode outline and terminology To apply, please include Links to 2–3 similar short-form videos you've written, directed or edited (bilingual or Italian-market work especially relevant) Your proposed approach to delivering each short in both Italian and English Your day rate or per-video rate, and rough availability over the next [4–6] weeks A short paragraph: how would you turn a concept like "adverse possession" or "an easement that restricts how high you can build" into a 60-second hook someone would actually watch to the end?
