Videographer for Manufacturing B-Roll

We are seeking an experienced videographer located in or near Orangeburg, South Carolina, to capture premium cinematic B-roll of a manufacturing facility and its production capabilities. This is not simply a documentation shoot. We are looking for someone with a strong cinematographer’s eye who can transform industrial manufacturing into visually compelling brand storytelling. The footage will support executive communications, investor presentations, corporate marketing, social media, web, and customer-facing communications. A detailed shot list, creative brief, and visual references will be provided before the shoot. Scope of Work Half-day onsite production, approximately four hours Capture a broad visual library of the facility, including: Manufacturing operations and processes Production equipment and automation SMT and related manufacturing processes Products, components, and materials Employees interacting with machinery and equipment Facility interiors and architectural details Exterior establishing shots Industrial textures and environmental details Equipment movement and mechanical processes Follow a predefined shot list while identifying additional creative opportunities onsite Capture clean ambient industrial sound whenever practical Creative Direction We are looking for a premium, cinematic industrial aesthetic comparable to high-end manufacturing and technology brand films. The footage should feel: Modern Technical Premium Clean Purposeful Engineered Visually sophisticated We value strong composition, lighting, controlled camera movement, depth, symmetry, leading lines, industrial textures, and visual storytelling—not simply recording the manufacturing floor. Preferred camera techniques include controlled gimbal movement, locked tripod shots, slow push-ins and pull-outs, macro details, shallow depth of field when appropriate, and slow-motion coverage of machinery and production activity. Please avoid vlog-style shooting, excessive handheld footage, fast social-media-style coverage, automatic exposure shifts, automatic white balance changes, or consumer-style production. Technical Requirements Preferred recording specifications: 4K UHD LOG recording preferred, such as Sony S-Log3, Canon C-Log, Blackmagic Film, or equivalent 23.98 fps for standard footage 60 fps for selected slow-motion shots Consistent manual exposure and white balance No LUTs or heavy color grading applied to delivered files Deliverables Raw, unedited footage Original camera files Footage organized by scene or location Clean ambient industrial audio where practical Cloud delivery through Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, WeTransfer, or a similar platform Suggested folder organization: Exterior Manufacturing Equipment Employees Products Facility Details Drone, if applicable No editing is required unless separately agreed upon.
