This person will serve as the primary operational bridge between Aux’s U.S.-based executive leadership and our Vietnamese developers. The Technical Project Manager will translate business priorities into clearly defined development tasks, manage Agile sprints, track progress, identify blockers, and ensure that projects are completed accurately and on schedule. The ideal candidate understands modern software development, communicates fluently in both Vietnamese and English, and can work effectively with executives, product leaders, designers, developers, and quality-assurance teams. This position will work closely with Aux’s existing technical and design leadership. The role is intended to provide structure, accountability, communication, and project coordination—not replace the responsibilities of our technical architects or product leaders. Key Responsibilities Sprint and Development Management Plan, organize, and manage Agile development sprints. Lead sprint-planning meetings, daily standups, backlog-refinement sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Assign and coordinate work across developers, designers, QA personnel, and other technical resources. Maintain accurate sprint boards, project timelines, priorities, dependencies, and release schedules. Monitor sprint velocity, workload, task completion, and team capacity. Ensure that development tasks are properly documented before entering a sprint. Executive and Team Communication Serve as the primary communication bridge between AuxGROUP’s U.S. executive team and its Vietnam-based development team. Translate business objectives into practical technical requirements that developers can understand and execute. Communicate technical challenges, tradeoffs, timelines, and risks to executive leadership in clear business language. Provide recurring project-status reports covering completed work, active priorities, delays, blockers, and upcoming milestones. Coordinate meetings across U.S. Central Time and Vietnam time zones. Ensure that decisions, changes, and approvals are documented and communicated to all affected team members. Product and Project Coordination Work closely with product, technical, design, and executive leadership to prioritize development initiatives. Help manage development across AuxGROUP platforms, including AuxPAY, AuxVAULT, AuxHUB, Aux365, and related products. Coordinate cross-platform integrations, APIs, user-interface development, mobile applications, and infrastructure-related projects. Track dependencies between products, development teams, vendors, and third-party integrations. Help maintain product roadmaps, feature backlogs, release plans, and technical documentation. Protect the development team from unclear, conflicting, or constantly changing priorities by establishing a documented approval and change-management process. Quality Assurance and Release Management Coordinate testing, bug tracking, user acceptance testing, and production-release activities. Confirm that acceptance criteria have been met before work is considered complete. Ensure that bugs and production issues are prioritized according to severity and business impact. Coordinate with developers and stakeholders during deployments and post-release validation. Maintain release notes and communicate product changes to internal stakeholders. Conduct follow-up reviews to ensure completed features function as intended. Accountability and Process Improvement Identify project delays, resource constraints, communication problems, and technical blockers early. Escalate critical risks to leadership with recommended solutions. Establish clear ownership and deadlines for all development tasks. Improve development processes, documentation standards, meeting structures, and reporting practices. Help create a predictable development environment with measurable delivery expectations. Ensure that no important request or decision is lost between executive leadership and the development team. Required Qualifications Fluent professional communication skills in both Vietnamese and English. Three or more years of experience managing software-development projects or technical product initiatives. Experience working directly with software developers, designers, QA teams, and executive stakeholders. Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum development practices. Demonstrated experience managing sprints, backlogs, user stories, deadlines, and software releases. Ability to understand technical discussions involving APIs, databases, web applications, mobile applications, integrations, and cloud-based platforms. Experience using project-management platforms such as Jira, ClickUp, Monday.com, Azure DevOps, Linear, Asana, or similar systems. Excellent written documentation, organization, and follow-through. Ability to manage multiple products and priorities simultaneously. Comfortable working with a U.S.-based executive team and participating in meetings during agreed-upon U.S. business hours. Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold team members accountable while maintaining positive working relationships. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing offshore or distributed software-development teams. Experience in fintech, payments, payment gateways, merchant services, SaaS, CRM, telecommunications, or financial technology. Familiarity with PCI DSS, payment security, tokenization, transaction processing, underwriting, or financial-services compliance. Technical background in software development, business analysis, quality assurance, product management, or systems design. Scrum Master, PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project-management certification. Experience managing multiple interconnected platforms or enterprise software products. Experience creating workflow diagrams, technical documentation, product specifications, and release plans. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is more than a meeting coordinator. This person should be capable of entering a technical conversation, understanding the core issue, documenting the required outcome, assigning ownership, and driving the matter through completion. The successful candidate will be: Highly organized and detail-oriented. Technically curious and comfortable asking questions. Confident communicating with executives and developers. Proactive about identifying risks and resolving blockers. Able to create structure in a fast-moving development environment. Skilled at separating urgent issues from strategically important work. Comfortable holding people accountable for commitments and deadlines. Focused on measurable outcomes rather than simply conducting meetings. Success in the First 90 Days Within the first 90 days, the Technical Project Manager will be expected to: Establish a consistent sprint-planning and reporting process. Organize the active development backlog across AuxGROUP products. Document current projects, owners, priorities, dependencies, and deadlines. Create visibility into development capacity and sprint performance. Implement a reliable process for communicating executive priorities to the Vietnam team. Improve the quality of user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria. Establish a consistent bug-tracking, testing, and release-management process. Reduce missed deadlines, unclear assignments, duplicated work, and communication gaps. Provide executive leadership with a dependable weekly development-status report. Working Hours This position will be based in a split between USA CST and Vietnam and must maintain a regular schedule that provides sufficient overlap with Aux’s U.S.-based leadership team. Some early-morning or evening meetings may be required due to the time-zone difference. How to Apply Please submit the following: Your résumé or curriculum vitae.
