Virtual Assistant for Social Security Disability Law Firm

Brad Thomas Disability is a fully remote Social Security disability law firm based in Texas. We're growing and hiring general virtual assistants to support our team Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Central Time What you'll do - Duties vary by position, but the work generally involves: - Calling the Social Security Administration to check case status and resolve issues - Speaking with clients about their cases (updates, questions, next steps, etc) - Requesting medical records and following up with providers - Completing detailed reports and forms with clients over the phone - Keeping case files accurate and current This is phone-heavy work that suits people who are organized, clear communicators, and genuinely good at talking with clients who are often stressed about their case What we're looking for: - Fluent English, strong verbal and written communication - Reliable computer, strong internet, and a quiet space to work - Available full-time during Central Time business hours - Detail-oriented with strong note-taking skills - Confident on the phone and able to handle client conversations with empathy - Quick learner with new systems and terminology - Good at following instructions and asking questions when something isn't clear - Prior administrative or office experience Nice to have: - Prior experience with Social Security disability or in a law firm - Spanish-speaking This is a long-term, full-time role.
