Virtual Restaurant Crew Development & Culinary Operations Coach We are a growing, multi-location restaurant company seeking an experienced restaurant professional to help develop our crew members, team leads, and managers through consistent virtual coaching and professional development. Our goal is to build a stronger, more confident team without requiring ownership to be physically present in each store every day. We are looking for someone who can meet virtually with employees each week, reinforce standards, develop leadership skills, and help team members grow in both restaurant operations and culinary knowledge. What You Will Do * Conduct weekly virtual coaching sessions with crew members, kitchen team members, team leads, and managers * Help employees strengthen communication, professionalism, accountability, organization, and leadership skills * Provide practical culinary education, including food preparation, kitchen organization, food quality, consistency, presentation, sanitation, and proper restaurant procedures * Coach team members on speed, sense of urgency, teamwork, customer service, and attention to detail * Help employees understand how their individual performance affects food quality, guest experience, labor efficiency, waste, and restaurant profitability * Review real operational challenges with employees and help them develop practical solutions * Create simple professional-development goals and follow up on progress * Help identify high-potential employees who may be ready for additional responsibility * Provide ownership with a concise weekly summary of progress, concerns, coaching topics, and recommended next steps * Assist in creating training materials, checklists, short lessons, and development plans as needed Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate has a strong background in restaurants, culinary operations, hospitality leadership, or employee training. You should be comfortable coaching employees with different experience levels and communicating in a way that is encouraging, practical, and clear. Experience as a chef, kitchen manager, restaurant manager, district trainer, culinary instructor, hospitality coach, or restaurant operations consultant would be especially valuable. You should have: * Meaningful restaurant or culinary leadership experience * Experience training and developing hourly employees and managers * Strong virtual communication and coaching skills * A supportive but accountable leadership style * The ability to turn restaurant challenges into clear, actionable lessons * Knowledge of food safety, kitchen systems, food quality, labor efficiency, and restaurant standards * Strong follow-through and documentation skills * The ability to build trust with employees while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality Spanish-speaking or bilingual candidates required Schedule and Engagement This will begin as a part-time, remote consulting role. We anticipate several hours per week initially, including recurring virtual meetings with selected employees and a weekly update with ownership. The schedule can be structured around employee availability, but consistency is important. We are interested in developing a long-term relationship with the right person. To Apply Please include: 1.
