Summary

We’re seeking a hands-on engineer to build the production version of Alegría, a voice-first AI companion app for older adults and adults with cognitive or developmental differences. The project includes a natural, low-latency bilingual voice experience, persistent memory, an accessible iOS app, phone-call access, and a safety layer that can alert family or care contacts. The backend will be built on Node.js. You should have direct experience delivering real-time voice AI experiences, iOS audio and app development, and strong backend engineering. A portfolio of live voice AI apps or demos is highly valued. This is a milestone-driven engagement with strong potential for ongoing work.
