Voice Over Talent Needed

We are seeking a talented voice over artist to bring our project to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong, engaging voice and the ability to convey emotion effectively. Experience in voice acting or narration is essential. The project involves creating a compelling audio experience that captivates the audience. If you have a passion for voice over work and a knack for storytelling, we would love to hear from you. This may become an ongoing assignment for the right narrator. Real Human Voice Required—No Exceptions All narration must be recorded by the person hired for this project. AI-generated, text-to-speech, synthetic, cloned, converted, or impersonated voices are strictly prohibited. Applicants may not use ElevenLabs, Speechify, PlayHT, Murf, Resemble AI, voice-cloning software, AI voice changers, or similar technology to create or replace the narration. Standard audio-production tools may be used for basic editing, including noise reduction, equalization, compression, breath control, and removal of recording mistakes. However, the underlying performance must be recorded entirely in the narrator’s natural human voice. Submitting AI-generated or cloned narration will result in immediate cancellation of the contract. Video of voice recording may be required. Responsibilities The selected narrator will: Record the complete script in their natural human voice Follow the script’s mood, pacing, pronunciation, and pause directions Maintain consistent volume, tone, microphone position, and recording quality Pronounce biblical names and locations carefully Correct narrator mistakes without additional charges Remove false starts, repeated lines, background noise, and obvious mouth sounds Deliver clean, publication-ready audio Communicate promptly if clarification is needed Maintain a consistent voice across the full season Audio Deliverables For each episode, please provide: One complete edited WAV file 48 kHz, 24-bit preferred Mono or stereo, provided it remains consistent A high-quality MP3 reference file Separate chapter files if requested Clean audio without music or sound effects Approximately one second of room tone when requested File names matching the episode and chapter titles The narrator is not responsible for adding background music, sound effects, images, or video unless separately agreed upon. Revisions The agreed price should include: Corrections for mispronunciations Corrections for skipped, repeated, or incorrectly read words Corrections for significant background noise or inconsistent levels One reasonable performance-revision round for lines that do not match the requested tone Revisions caused by major script changes after recording will be negotiated separately. How to Apply Please include: A short introduction describing your voice-over experience. Links to two or three relevant samples recorded in your natural voice. A description of your recording environment and microphone. Your rate for a 25–35-minute finished episode. Your usual turnaround time for a script of approximately 3,600–4,500 words. Confirmation that you personally record all narration without AI-generated, cloned, synthetic, or text-to-speech technology. Confirmation that you are interested in a possible 20-episode engagement. Any questions you have about the series. Please begin your proposal with the words “THE VOICE TEST” so I know you read the complete posting. Audition Process Do not record a lengthy unpaid audition. I will first review existing voice samples and previous work. A small number of finalists may then be invited to complete a short paid test using the same excerpt. The paid test will help evaluate vocal quality, emotional interpretation, pronunciation, audio consistency, and responsiveness to direction. Finalists may also be asked to participate in a brief live video call or live-directed reading to confirm that the submitted voice belongs to the applicant and can be reproduced naturally. Rights and Confidentiality The selected narrator must agree that: Completed and paid-for recordings may be edited, synchronized with video, published, distributed, promoted, and monetized by the client. The recordings may be used across platforms including YouTube, podcasts, websites, social media, streaming platforms, and promotional materials. The narrator will not publish or distribute the scripts or unfinished recordings without written permission. The narrator retains ownership of their natural voice and personal identity. The client is not purchasing the right to clone, synthesize, train an AI model on, or generate new speech from the narrator’s voice. The narrator may not authorize another person or automated system to perform the contracted work. Any additional use outside the agreed project scope will require written agreement. Budget Please submit your fixed price for one fully edited 25–35-minute episode and state whether you offer a consistent rate for a 20-episode series. Quality, reliability, natural delivery, and vocal consistency are more important than selecting the lowest bid.
