Vue/Nest news radar - audit vibecode, harden, backups & UI before launch

Storyradar (storyradar.at) is a newsroom radar product (feeds → scoring → clustering → editorial dashboard). Large parts of the codebase were vibecoded (AI-assisted / fast-built). It works, but we need an experienced developer to treat it like a real product: review quality end-to-end, fix what’s weak, and get us to a deployable, maintainable state. This is not “add a feature and disappear.” We want someone who can inspect everything, judge quality honestly, and improve it accordingly. What we need A full quality review + remediation pass covering: Backend: NestJS / Prisma / Postgres / jobs & data pipelines — correctness, error handling, security basics, dead code, fragile vibecode patterns Frontend: Vue dashboard — UX consistency, design polish, broken flows, unclear copy/states Architecture for production: safe deploy path, environment handling, secrets Backup architecture: DB + critical config backups, restore path documented Git: proper repo hygiene (history, branches, ignores, no secrets in git, clear workflow for changes) Goal: we can deploy with confidence, not ship vibecode debt blindly. Deliverables (€150 fixed starter) Written audit (backend + frontend + ops): what’s solid, what’s risky, prioritized fix list Concrete improvements within budget (agreed after audit) — e.g. critical bugs, design fixes, backup scripts, Git setup/cleanup Short runbook: how to backup, restore, deploy, and work with Git on this project If the starter goes well, we continue (hourly or next fixed packages). You should be 1. Experienced with Vue + Node/Nest (or strong full-stack + Docker) 2. Comfortable on a live Linux/Docker setup without breaking production 3. Able to read AI-generated code critically and refactor without a full rewrite unless needed 4. UI expert 5. Clear communicator (German or English) 6. ready to work in future with us
