Walmart Marketplace Virtual Assistant / Store Manager – Toys, Games & Baby Products We are looking for an experienced and reliable Walmart Marketplace Virtual Assistant / Store Manager to launch, operate, and grow a brand-new Walmart Marketplace store specializing in Toys, Games, Baby Products, and related children's products. The Walmart seller account is already established and approved but currently has no products listed. We are looking for someone who can take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the store, beginning with supplier sourcing and product research and continuing through listings, inventory, WFS/fulfillment, order management, customer service, and profitability reporting. This is intended to be a long-term position based primarily on profit sharing, not simply a product-listing project. Main Responsibilities 1. Supplier Research & Verification Research and identify reputable U.S.-based manufacturers, authorized distributors, wholesalers, and brand-authorized suppliers specializing in: • Toys • Games • Baby products • Children's products and accessories Suppliers must be legitimate businesses capable of providing proper commercial invoices and, when applicable, supporting product-compliance and authorization documentation. Depending on the product, documentation may include: • Children's Product Certificate (CPC) • CPSIA compliance documentation • ASTM testing/compliance documentation • CPSC-related testing documentation • Laboratory test reports • Manufacturer or brand authorization letters • Other documents required by Walmart for restricted or regulated products The VA is expected to verify the supplier and documentation before purchasing or listing products whenever applicable. 2. Supplier Account Setup Contact approved suppliers and: • Apply for wholesale/dealer accounts • Obtain catalogs and current price lists • Determine minimum order quantities (MOQ) • Review shipping terms • Obtain authorization/reseller documentation when available • Maintain organized supplier records and contact information 3. Product Research & Selection Analyze available products and identify the best opportunities based on factors such as: • Walmart demand • Competition • Selling price • Wholesale cost • Walmart fees • WFS or fulfillment costs • Shipping and preparation costs • Expected net profit and ROI • Sales history/potential • Brand restrictions • Product compliance requirements • Inventory availability Products should not be purchased or listed simply because they appear profitable. Compliance, supplier legitimacy, documentation, and long-term account safety are priorities. A profitability analysis should be provided before significant purchases are made. 4. Warehouse, Prep & Fulfillment Help establish and coordinate with a reliable U.S. warehouse / 3PL / prep center when required. Responsibilities may include: • Receiving supplier shipments • Inspection and preparation • Labeling • Inventory management • Preparing shipments to Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) • Coordinating merchant-fulfilled orders when appropriate • Monitoring warehouse inventory and WFS inventory 5. Walmart Listings & Account Management Create and optimize compliant Walmart listings, including: • Titles • Descriptions • Specifications • Images • Categories • Keywords • Pricing • Inventory • Product identifiers • Required compliance information All listings and account activities must comply with current Walmart Marketplace policies. The VA must monitor account health and promptly report any listing suppression, compliance request, customer complaint, policy warning, performance issue, or other account risk. 6. Daily Store Operations Manage daily operations including: • Orders • Inventory • WFS shipments • Merchant-fulfilled orders, if applicable • Returns and refunds • Customer service • Supplier communication • Warehouse/3PL communication • Listing issues • Pricing and inventory updates • Walmart support cases • Account-health monitoring Any significant problem affecting the account, inventory, customers, or profitability should be reported immediately. 7. Reporting & Financial Records Maintain accurate Excel/Google Sheets showing, at minimum: • Order number • Product/SKU • Quantity • Selling price • Product cost • Supplier • Sales tax paid on purchases, where applicable • Shipping cost • Prep/warehouse cost • WFS/fulfillment cost • Walmart fees • Returns/refunds • Other expenses • Net profit per order/product • Monthly sales • Monthly expenses • Monthly net profit • Current warehouse inventory • Current WFS inventory • Open/pending supplier orders A short daily activity report should also summarize purchases, sales, inventory movements, WFS shipments, returns, problems, Walmart notices, and actions taken. Compensation This position will operate primarily on a profit-sharing basis. The VA/management team will receive: 30% of agreed net profit, calculated and paid at the end of each month. The method used to calculate net profit must be transparent and supported by the monthly financial spreadsheet. No purchasing decisions or major expenses should be made without prior approval. STRICT SOURCING RULES This is extremely important. NO retail dropshipping. Products must NOT be sourced for resale from retail stores or retail websites such as: • Walmart • Amazon • Sam's Club • Target • Costco • eBay • Other retail stores or marketplaces We are looking for legitimate sourcing through manufacturers, authorized distributors, wholesalers, or brand-authorized suppliers that can provide proper invoices and supporting documentation. Account safety and long-term compliance are more important than short-term sales. Ideal Candidate Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in: • Walmart Seller Center • Walmart Marketplace account management • WFS • Wholesale sourcing • U.S. distributors/manufacturers • Toys and children's products • Walmart product compliance • CPC/CPSIA/ASTM requirements • Product research and profitability analysis • Inventory management • 3PL/prep-center coordination • Excel/Google Sheets financial reporting Experience managing Toys, Games, Baby, or Children's categories on Walmart is highly desirable. How to Apply Please do not send a generic VA proposal. In your application, please answer the following: 1. How many Walmart Marketplace stores have you personally managed? 2. How many years of Walmart Marketplace experience do you have? 3. Have you managed Toys, Games, Baby, or Children's products before? 4. Explain how you would find and verify an authorized U.S. distributor. 5. What documents would you request from a supplier before listing regulated children's products on Walmart? 6. What product-research tools do you normally use for Walmart? 7. Do you have experience with Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)? 8. Do you have experience working with U.S. prep centers or 3PL warehouses? 9. How do you calculate net profit and ROI before recommending a product? 10. Are you comfortable working under the 30% monthly profit-sharing arrangement described above? Important: Please begin your proposal with the words “WALMART TOYS” so we know you have read the complete job description. You may be competing with other experienced Walmart VAs/management teams for this position. We are looking for someone interested in building a safe, compliant, profitable, and long-term Walmart business, rather than generating quick sales through risky sourcing methods.
