Web & Mobile App Developer for Multi-Company Expense Tracker with OCR

Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced full-stack web and mobile developer (or small team) to build a web-based, mobile-first app designed to track expenses across multiple companies. The app will streamline invoice management by allowing users to capture images of financial documents (invoices, cheques, bank deposit slips) directly via mobile, run OCR data extraction, and generate detailed Excel reports. Key Features & Scope: Multi-Company Architecture: Capability to manage, categorize, and switch between separate company profiles under a single master/admin user or dedicated accounts. Document Capture & Upload: Direct photo capture and document upload from mobile cameras and desktop files (supporting images, PDFs, etc.). OCR Data Extraction: Automated optical character recognition to detect and auto-populate key fields: Vendor Name PIN / Tax Identification Number Line-item Descriptions Quantities, Unit Costs, and Total Amounts Reporting & Data Export: Generate customizable expense reports filtered by company, vendor, date range, and category. Export capabilities to Excel (.xlsx) accessible both within the mobile app interface and via a desktop web dashboard. User & Role Management: Basic authentication with role-based access controls (e.g., Admin, Accountant, Submitter).
