We are seeking a meticulous and resourceful Web Research and Data Collection Specialist to gather and verify high-quality business information across the web. Your primary responsibility will be to source, extract, and clean raw data to build out our comprehensive global directory database. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for detail, knows how to navigate complex websites, and excels at transforming messy online information into structured, accurate data. Key Responsibilities: Data Sourcing & Extraction -Conduct deep web research using search engines, public registries, business directories, and social media platforms to find target businesses. -Extract specific business assets and data points accurately, including: Location: Complete physical addresses, postal codes, and coordinates. Website Info: Official URLs, primary email addresses, and contact forms. Phone Number: Main business lines and customer service numbers (properly formatted). Social Networks: Direct links to active profiles (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.). Media: Finding and downloading high-resolution logos, brand imagery, and promotional media. Opening Hours: Standard operating schedules, time zone context, and holiday hours. Description: Writing or extracting clear, concise overviews explaining what the business does. Data Quality & Formatting -Input all gathered information into spreadsheets, databases, or content management systems without errors. -Cross-reference multiple online sources to verify that the information is current and active. -Standardize data formats (e.g., ensuring phone numbers use international country codes and addresses match standardized mapping formats).
