We're looking for an experienced website copywriter to partner with us on a complete website redesign for an established family law firm. We've already completed the messaging strategy, information architecture, page hierarchy, and content direction. Every page has a defined purpose and key message. We're looking for a copywriter who can take that strategy and transform it into compelling website copy that feels authentic, empathetic, and specific to this firm. Project Scope: This project is a complete website redesign with an expected scope of roughly a dozen pages We'll provide a brand voice guide, creative brief, website strategy and messaging direction, existing website content, and collaboration and feedback throughout the project. We've already invested heavily in the strategy. This isn't a blank-page project. We're looking for a skilled copywriter who can bring that strategy to life through persuasive, human-centered website copy. We're looking for someone who: Has experience writing websites for professional service businesses. Legal experience is a plus, but not required. Understands the difference between website copywriting and content writing. Can follow an established brand voice rather than imposing their own style. Writes with empathy, confidence, and clarity. Can balance legal credibility with approachable, conversational language. Takes feedback well and revises thoughtfully. This project is written for people navigating divorce, child custody, financial uncertainty, and other emotionally difficult situations. The copy should feel calm, reassuring, and trustworthy without becoming overly polished or corporate. AI is a tool. Strong copywriting is the skill we're hiring for. We care about the quality of the final writing, not whether you used AI to brainstorm. How We'll Work: We'll begin with a paid, flat-rate trial for a single page. This gives both of us the opportunity to confirm the writing style, collaboration, and overall fit before moving forward with the remainder of the project. If it's a great fit, we'll continue with the full website. To Apply: Please include 2-3 website copy samples (legal or professional services preferred), your flat rate for the one-page trial, your flat rate for the complete ~12-page project, and a brief explanation of how you approach writing within an established brand voice.
