Website Developer Needed for One-Page Church Fundraising & Donation Website Project Overview We are seeking an experienced website designer/developer to create a professional, modern, mobile-friendly one-page fundraising campaign website for a church organization. This is not a full church website. The primary purpose is to tell our story, present our fundraising campaign, encourage visitors to give, securely process and track donations, and provide our team with donor information and fundraising progress. We are looking for someone with experience building nonprofit, church, charity, or fundraising websites/landing pages and integrating secure donation platforms. Website Requirements 1. Professional One-Page Design Create a visually compelling and professional fundraising landing page that works well on desktop, tablet, and mobile. The page should communicate: * Who we are * Our story and mission * Why we are raising funds * Our fundraising goal * How supporters can help 2. Campaign Video The website should prominently feature/embed our approximately 3–5 minute fundraising video. 3. Fundraising Goal & Progress Tracker The website should display: * Total fundraising goal * Amount raised to date * Percentage of goal achieved * Visual progress bar Ideally, the amount raised should update automatically as donations are received. 4. Secure Online Donations The website must integrate with a reputable and secure donation/payment platform. We are open to recommendations such as Donorbox, Givebutter, Stripe, or another established fundraising solution. Donors should be able to: * Select or enter a donation amount * Make a one-time donation * Optionally make a recurring donation * Enter their name and email * Choose to make their donation publicly anonymous * Receive confirmation after a successful donation We do not want a custom-built payment-processing system. 5. Donor Tracking / Administration Authorized administrators should have secure access to: * Donor name, when provided * Email address * Donation amount * Donation date * Payment status * Anonymous/public-display preference * Total amount raised We would also like the ability to export donor information to CSV/Excel. 6. Anonymous Giving Donors should have the option to remain anonymous publicly while authorized administrators can still access information provided by the donor in the secure backend, subject to the capabilities of the selected donation platform. 7. Automatic Thank-You Email After a successful donation, the donor should automatically receive a professional thank-you/acknowledgment email. Ideally, this should include the donor’s name when available, donation amount, date, and our customized thank-you message. 8. Strong Calls to Action The website should include strategically placed GIVE NOW / DONATE NOW buttons throughout the page. 9. Social Sharing Visitors should be able to easily share the fundraising campaign through social media, email, or a shareable campaign link. 10. Administration & Ownership All primary website, domain, hosting, and fundraising accounts must remain under our organization’s ownership and control. At completion, we require: * Full administrative access * Website credentials * Donation platform access * Information about hosting and any paid services * Documentation of themes/plugins used * Instructions for making basic website updates * Basic training/handoff Platform We are open to recommendations regarding the best platform, including WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, or another appropriate solution.
