Project Overview Costa and Associates Inc. is a Liberian land rights recovery and property consultancy serving the Liberian diaspora (concentrated in the US, Ghana, Germany, Sweden, and the UK). Our audience is fraud-wary and skeptical, often having already experienced fraud, displacement, or family land disputes. The website's core job is to build trust quickly, and it is built around the founder's personal story and lived experience recovering his own family's land. 2. Current State — What Already Exists This is a refinement and migration project, not a from-scratch design. We already have a complete site developed: full page copy, structure, and working HTML for four pages (Home, Our Story / About, Services & Pricing, Know Your Rights). We're looking for a developer to migrate this into a self-hosted WordPress site, refine it, add the integrations and pages listed below, and launch it. 3. Project Goal Migrate and refine our existing site into a self-hosted WordPress site that we own outright, with the scope below, ready to launch by October 1, 2026. 4. Scope of Work Pages Home-video-first hero built around our founding-story video, not text-first Our Story / About — founder's personal story and firm background Services & Pricing — two-phase engagement model, transparent pricing, payment methods display Know Your Rights — educational property law guide content Consultation / Contact — Calendly booking, WhatsApp click-to-chat, inquiry form Blog — self-managed through the WordPress CMS — we will write and publish our own posts Features & Integrations Calendly booking integration WhatsApp Business click-to-chat integration Email inquiry form with lead capture Client Stories / testimonials section “How It Works” visual process — 4–5 simple steps from first contact to resolution Payment methods display — wire transfer, PayPal, Wise, mobile money Our Liberian business registration shown in the footer of every page Fully mobile-first responsive design — the large majority of our audience is on mobile SSL and fast page-load performance Basic on-page SEO setup Google Analytics and Google Search Console integration A privacy policy page — our audience includes the UK, Germany, and Sweden 5. Ownership & Platform Requirements Self-hosted WordPress — not a proprietary or managed platform Full ownership of the finished site, code, and content upon completion Site must be portable and transferable to another host if we ever need to move it Open to your hosting recommendation, or we can arrange hosting separately 6. Timeline — Must-Have for Launch vs. Can Follow Shortly After Our target launch is October 1, 2026. Given that date, please tell us what's realistically achievable for launch day versus what could follow shortly after, so we can plan accordingly. Not Included in This Scope A secure client portal is planned as a future phase and is not part of this engagement. An AI chat assistant may be added later as a separate, lightweight tool; it is not required as part of this build.
