Website Setup — WordPress Theme, Branding & Technical Configuration I need a freelance web developer/designer to take my WordPress site from a bare-bones default install to a fully configured, professional, working website. I will write all site content myself — this role is technical/design setup only. WordPress is already installed on Hostinger with SSL active. Process — two phases:     •    Phase 1: Present 2 distinct homepage design concepts (mockups/previews) for me to choose from.     •    Phase 2: Build out the chosen concept into the full working site, plus all the technical configuration below. 1. Homepage & page design     •    Design and build out the homepage — the site is currently on a default WordPress theme showing broken placeholder text where real content should be (menu, contact info, social links, newsletter signup)     •    Clean, professional layout: hero section with clear value proposition, trust signals, and a clear path into the card-matching tool     •    Design an About page (copy will be provided) and the standard legal/contact pages so they match the overall site design, not just raw text on a blank template     •    Set up main navigation menu     •    Add contact info (business email) and social media links (Instagram, TikTok, plus others as they’re claimed)     •    Configure the newsletter signup form so it actually works     •    Mobile-responsive throughout     •    Apply branding — a brand direction/brief will be provided; no logo exists yet, so use a clean text-based wordmark/name treatment for now 2. WordPress technical configuration     •    Set permalink structure to Post Name     •    Confirm SSL is functioning correctly site-wide     •    Install and configure: Rank Math (SEO), LiteSpeed Cache, Wordfence Security     •    Set up a Google Analytics 4 property and connect it via MonsterInsights     •    Set up Google Search Console and verify the domain 3. Legal pages     •    Publish Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Affiliate Disclosure (text/embed code provided) 4. React app deployment on Vercel     •    Create a Vercel account using my Google account (login provided)     •    Deploy a React JSX file I’ll provide (single file, self-contained)     •    Configure the deployment so it builds correctly 5. DNS — subdomain setup     •    In the Hostinger DNS panel, add a CNAME record pointing a tool subdomain to the Vercel deployment URL     •    Verify the subdomain resolves correctly after propagation 6. Verify everything works     •    Homepage loads with real content (no placeholder/template text), SSL active     •    Tool subdomain loads the React matching tool     •    All plugins active with no errors     •    MonsterInsights connected to GA4 What I will provide:     •    Hostinger login credentials (shared securely)     •    Vercel login credentials     •    The React JSX file for deployment     •    Legal page text / embed codes     •    Brand direction/brief (no logo yet — text-based wordmark for now) What I do NOT need:     •    Content or copywriting — I’m writing all articles and page copy myself     •    SEO strategy beyond plugin installation and basic configuration Timeline: Concepts within 3–4 days of hiring; full build within 8–10 days total. Required with your proposal — please include:     •    Your proposed rate for the full scope described above     •    A link to your portfolio, or 3–5 examples of WordPress homepages you’ve designed and built     •    Confirmation you’ve done both WordPress homepage design AND Vercel deployments before Proposals without a portfolio link or design examples won’t be considered.
