Website QA/QC Specialist for Agency Work
Worldwide
We're looking for a websites QA/QC specialist who can own the final quality gate before work reaches our clients. The type of things we want be caught: mobile issues, incorrect links, wrong images, content mismatches, or unfinished requirements. We need someone whose primary responsibility is to verify the actual result and show proof - then communicate checked deliverables according to defined reporting templates. You will work from briefs and checklists, but we also expect you to notice when the standard itself needs to be updated. What you will own - Review WordPress website work before it reaches a client. - Check every assigned page against the source brief, client-approved direction, and Definition of Done. - Test mobile and desktop layouts, links, forms, buttons, booking paths, navigation, videos, and other interactive elements. - Check content placement, spelling, brand and provider names, image relevance, before-and-after pairing, cropping, and consistency across related pages. - Document each issue with a page URL, clear evidence, and expected fix. - Track repeat issues and recommend precise additions to our QA standards. What we need from you -- Hands-on website QA or QC experience. Agency experience is useful because you will move between different client sites and briefs. -- Strong visual judgment and enough UX understanding to recognize broken hierarchy, inconsistent layouts, poor mobile behavior, and confusing journeys. -- Ability to inspect requirements carefully and identify missing or contradictory instructions before marking work complete. -- Clear written English. Your reports need to be short, specific, and usable by developers, designers, copywriters, and project managers. -- Comfort working independently and challenging a premature “done” status with evidence. -- Ability to learn from new failure patterns and improve the checklist instead of only repeating an existing one. Working setup --- Remote contractor role with ongoing work if the test and first assignments go well. --- Overlap with US Eastern Time is required for handoffs and questions. Please state your regular availability. --- Initial work will focus on website builds, revisions, conversions, maintenance tasks, and pre-launch checks. --- Note we have 1 to 2-hour skills assessment as part of the process, confirm you're open to deliver it. To apply Please send your CV and answer the question below. Also confirm that you are ready to complete 1 to 2-hour skills assessment before a longer engagement.
