Website page translation (EN to DE)

We're a B2B sales engagement platform. We're localizing our website into German and looking for a freelance EN → DE translator to take over our German pages on an ongoing basis. What you'll do - Translate website pages from English to German: landing pages, product pages, feature pages, SEO meta titles and descriptions - Adapt copy rather than translate it literally. Marketing tone, not documentation tone (you'll receive a full brief) - Follow our glossary and localization conventions (e.g. AI → KI, product names stay lowercase and unchanged) - Log your completed work in our shared Google Sheet tracker (word counts per page, status, delivery date). This takes a few minutes per batch and is part of the job, not an extra - Flag anything unclear in the source copy before delivering instead of guessing What we're looking for - Native German speaker - Proven experience translating marketing or SaaS copy, not just technical documents - Comfortable with sales, outreach, and marketing terminology - Responsive and proactive: you ask questions, raise issues early, and suggest better phrasing when the English doesn't carry over - Reliable on deadlines How we work - Rate is agreed per word before the project starts and stays fixed for the duration. We don't renegotiate mid-project or after delivery - Work comes in batches, we have a custom translation software that simplifies how you can correct translation - Our custom software provides you with pages already translated by AI (tailored to our brand), your job is to review it and give feedback to improve and fine-tune the AI - We pay on time, every time To apply, please include: - Your rate per word (EN → DE) - Two samples of marketing or SaaS copy you've translated into German - Your typical turnaround for a 1,500 word page - In one sentence: how would you translate "warm up your inbox" for a German audience, and why?
